.....Truth is, you're the one and only person in this world that will ALWAYS be here for you.

Ha that's no joke.  A couple weeks ago, every thing between me and this one *person* was fine, we were best friends, talked every day and were always here for each other.  But that *person* got in a accident and lost one of her best friends and got hurt pretty bad. That was 2 weeks ago, and I haven't got a dozen texts from her since then(compared to the 100s we sent each other...no I'm not kidding HUNDREDS of texts).  Maybe it's her cell service where she lives...but yet she can update facebook from her phone every few hours, but she can't text her "best friend" back?  I'm not even sure if I really needed her, she'd call or text me.  I just feel lost.  Maybe everything about our friendship wasn't real?  but no, she promised she'd always be here for me and she told me she loved me like a sister.  But then she acts like this?  

I just feel like I'm at a crossroad and i don't know which way to go....do I just lay back and wait for her to come around?  Or do I let it go and not bother with being hurt when we don't talk for a week?  In other words, forget about our friendship all together?  I know she's hurting because of the loss of her friend, but after going through something like that I know I'd hang onto my family and friends and tell them how much I loved and needed them.

I just don't know what to do anymore with this.  I'm just gonna stop trying to talk to her and maybe she'll come back around....even tho it hurts like hell </3

What's Been Crackin 'Round Here

{W.A.R.N.I.N.G This is going to  be a long drawn out post about a lot of things}

Alright so last Tuesday(17th) my best friend got in a horrible wreck.  She made it , but the girl who was driving sadly didn't.  It was unreal that night, 10 different people texting me all at once, me bawling cuz I was scared $h!tless that i almost lost my best friend.  somebody who is like my sister and someone who I trust  more than most of my family(I know i sound like a bad person when i say that), she coulda been gone like *that* but she wasn't so God evidently has a plan for her life...big time.  

It just brings a lot of things into perspective for me(even tho i didnt go through what Kate did), you know?  YOu get exactly ONE chance at life and God can call you home in a split second if he wants.  There for a while(like a couple months ago)I couldn't WAIT to grow up and turn 18 and do whatever I want, but now...it's just like I wanna hang onto being a kid for a little while longer and just soak it up.  

What am I gonna see when I'm 40 years old when I look back at my life right now?  Me not being able to wait to turn 18 and just sitting around being mad that I've still got 2 years before I turn 18?  Or me being 100% what  I really am and living life to the fullest?  I think I'd rather remember the ladder of the the two!  

So yeah, I guess Kate's wreck had a pretty good impact on me too.  Kinda made me pull my head outta my a** and realize what I have and that I better go to livin it right!  I guess God just works in mysterious way like that.

Enough with the sad stuff...Now what else? 

Oh yes, SCHOOL'S OVVVVVER WITH FOR THE SUMMMMMMER!! yes I'm a tad excited.  Well it's over with unless I want to graduate next year....hell I donno what I'm gonna do, but like I said, I'm livin life like a should, with lots of happiness :)

I've taken more pictures with my phone using Instagram in the last week than I have taken with my camera!  I just love it!  There's something about the "old school/vintage/retro" look about those pictures I take with it that I'm just completely in love with.  I can defiantly see myself "capturing summer" with the camera on my phone lol

We've been havin a lot of storms here lately, but thankfully nothing as bad as the ones that hit Joplin and southern Oklahoma.  Lotsa big thunderheads, rain, thunder and lighting.  Me and my other good friend Lauren (who's living with one of the guys my dad works with, so she lives like 500 feet from my house) text eachother back and forth everytime it gets cloudy haha

Speakin of Miss Lauren, the other night I was mowing the yard in a bikini top, cutoff shorts, barefoot(keep reading, this does have something to do with Lauren), and a Dodge cap all while listening to Colt Ford, aka being a total hick-chick.  Thank God I live 20 miles from the nearest town and the county road is far enough away from the house that nobody can really see me. So after I get done mowing, I go out to feed the horses, Lauren see's me out walking so she walks over to the barn where I'm at and we have a good 45 minute convo about everything from chiggers to the Northy's(Cowboys.  I like their dad cuz he's funny as hell and is a good friend to my dad, but those boys? eh...) and nail polish.  haha yeah we're random.  For being 4 years older than me, either 1) I act like a 20 year old or 2) she acts like a 16 year old, cuz we get along like really well!lol  Hopefully she'll stick around for a while cuz she makes life up here in the boonies a little less boring!haha

Sooo anyways, I guess that's about it for now!  I gotta go give my stinky dog(Sadie) a bath...joy.

The fireflies lighting up the complete blackness of a moonless night

The squeak of a fan that sets in my window, sucking in the cool mid-May air

The smell of the rain drenched trees and grasses

The peacefulness of  it all 

That are burned into my heart; that I'll remember all my life...it's hard to explain how it is out here after a thunder storm, but it's wonderfully beautiful in it's hard to explain entirety.....

The Going's On Around Here...

Well I do believe summer has finally hit the Osage!  Our weather went from upper 60s for highs, too low 90s in the time span of about a week.  I simply L.O.V.E it!  I'm thinkin that this afternoon I'm gonna be kicked back on a lounger out in the sun, soakin up them rays ;)  If it keeps warming up, I bet we'll have our pool put up before the end of this month.  Ahh that sounds good...
Moving on....I still haven't got my Learner's Permit yet, even tho I finished my online stuff a couple weeks ago...I'm not even gonna get started on why I haven't got the LP yet *Rolls Eyes*
But hopefully I'll have it before this month is over....hopefully.  And hopefully I'll have a truck before then.  We've got a 2000 Tahoe(With leather seats, cd player, automatic transmission ect ect) but I want a truck....I know, I sound soo spoiled, huh?!  My perfect truck would be a '90s Dodge flatbed, big mud tires, tinted windows, stacks, standard[transmission], basically a truck that looks like a redneck mobile(it may or may not be to show off a little for a kid I like, but we won't go into great detail over that ;) )

Let's see, what else, oh to prove that I can/will put pictures on here, here's a random picture:

Other than all of the above, nothing really exciting has gone on lately.  We've been trapping wild hogs(that have become a major pain in the a** around here), that gave a little entertainment.  

I've been thinkin bout cutting my hair(again) but this time I want it short, like shoulder length short.  Right now it's halfway down my back and driving me nuts.  

One of my friends has hers cut pretty short and it looks super cute on her.

 I'm just bored with mine right now, its just blah.

I've been trying to get my 9th grade school books finished, and get started on 10th grade(where i should be), i've almost got them done, thank God!  

so my days have been filled with school, going to the shop with dad, and working on stories.  So freakin exciting, I know! *Rolls Eyes Again*

I probably won't stop doing school work till next month, I think f i really tried, I could be completely done with school next year, which would be totally and completely awesome.  I should prolly be working on school instead of typing this stuff up, but oh well...

Later I've got to post about some new music I've found, just not now because I've got to go tan ;)

It's Friday...no wait, it's Saturday?

I woke up(at 9:45 I might add.  Don't hate.) this morning, glanced at the clock, looked out my bedroom window, and noticed that there was not a soul around at the shop.
But it's Friday, why aren't the guys working?
Oh.  It's Saturday.  I forgot. 
So now that little problem has been salved...moving right along

Yesterday we went garage sailing..... defiantly NOT my favorite thing to do.  Getting up early to go hunting or go work cattle is one thing, but to go garage sailing? No, I see no point in doing so!  But I did get some cute new clothes...I guess that's one good thing about it.
It was cold and soggy yesterday, rainy, misty, it barely got over 45* all day.  I dislike it very much!  It's still cool out this morning, but it's going to warm up this afternoon(Thank God!).  I just hope we have a early summer this year, and by the looks of things, I think we are.

And while I was out screaming at Mama's dog(in sweatpants and bare feet), I heard the whippoorwills for the first time this year.

Let's see, what else....oh we got some tomato, pepper, and cucumber plants yesterday that we've got to plant sometime today.  I finally(4 days after my birthday) got my petunias planted that my nanna got me

They were still alive as of last night, so I'm assuming that they're still alive this morning.

Dad has got us a new project started, we're going to widen out the horse lot by the barn, i.e. make the gate wider than 3 foot across....like it is now.  He's got the holes dug for the posts, but we've still gotta set the posts and all that jazz.  Hopefully it'll be done in a couple weeks.

Dad's gotta haul his little dun mare over to his friend so he can ride her a bunch while the ranch he works for is getting in cattle.  She's gonna be a hell of a horse, i think!  

After we get her gone, I'm bringing my paint horse, Tonto, over here by the house so I can start riding him more.  So far I've been on him twice, both times bareback and with only a halter.  Considering the fact that he hasn't been rode since Oct. of last year, he did alright. 

 The way I figure it, is if I start riding him just as soon as I get him over here, we'll be ready to rock n roll when Shippin rolls around in July/Aug.

Oh and something else that I have to look forward to in Sep. is hopefully getting my Driver's Licence!  

I finished all of my online stuff a couple days ago now I'm just waiting on some stuff to come in so I can do more.

Hehehehe, I'll be able to DRIVE.....well legally anyway ;)

Something else that I'm goin to try and learn this summer is to pull a horse trailer/drive my dad's standard Dodge good.  

I've been stumped as far as writing on my other blog, I just can't find anything to write about!  Not that I don't want to write, I just don't have anything that I can write about!  Maybe I'll find something today....

Rambles...

Spring makes me happy...tho other things kinda mess my "I'm so happy it's Spring" mood up sometimes.  But the main factor right now is it's Spring and I'm 16! YAY!!!  Oh my birthday was nothing short of wonderful.  It started off with dad giving me my "birthday money and hug" that I always get from him, then mom took me to the B-Ville to get me a new straw hat.  I walked out of the western store with 2 new straw hats AND a new belt!  Oh i forgot, I got a new purse and billfold from Nana and Pop, and I got a totally awesome pocket knife from my wonderful aunt too.  So anyways, me and mom shopped and little then went to Walmart, then we made F.L.Y.I.N.G trip home so I'd be on time to meet my best friend at the barn.  We pulled in about 10 minutes before the school bus got here!lol  So I got a beautiful bracelet and matching earrings AND a homemade birthday cake from Miss Kate.  We set out by the cake house and cussed an discussed many things, and of course we had to take pictures!

  Then we got bored and took off(barefoot I might add) to the barn, ignoring the storm clouds that seemed to appear out of thin air.  At the barn we found my little paint horse and pestered him for God knows how long.  Kate had a fit over his long hair a.k.a "the fuzzies".  She cracks me up!  And somehow we started doing silly Indian sounding things and started singing the theme song to The Lion King while standing on the water trough.  We're so freaking mature!haha  And while we were being VERY mature while singing "O wimmabuwa O gimwabwawa" on the water trough(where there's water and a pipe fence and a very tall wooden pole thingy) we watched the lighting that was popping everywhere.  Hey we're so Mature and Smart that it ain't even funny! huh yeah right....Anyway, I go back into the tackroom after a camera and check my phone.  I've got 2 texts from mom and dad saying to "Watch the weather" and "come to the house".  Alright so maybe it might be gonna storm.  We gather our stuff up and walk to the house just as a Tornado Warning is issued for the county just west of us. So me and Kate and my dogs set on my porch and watch these clouds:

So me and Kate are on my porch:

And while we're on my porch/in the yard walking looking at the clouds, we(mostly me) update Facebook 1000 times on how Kate's stuck at my house(since her mama can't get to my house because of the storms) and how I'm having a great birthday.  So we eat pizza an set in the carport for another 30 minutes. I go put on my new straw hat and get a flash light and act retarded for the next 10 minutes, making Kate and sister laugh. Update Facebook again saying that we've walked around the house and are sitting on the cellar. Then we decide(/get bored) that the storms have moved on and it's safe for Kate to text her mama and tell her that she can come get her.  But until Mama Nikki gets here, me and Kate are gonna walk over to the shop and look at some M.A.S.I.V.E deer sheds.  But as we walk out the back gate, I look over to the north west and see a firey glow and smoke, so I run back to the house and get dad.  He calls around and decides that we need to go see where it is.  Cool!  So me and him and Kate load up in his Dodge and take off, deciding hat somewhere between here and there we'll find Kate's mama and let her out.  We take off up the road, all the while dad's on the phone/texting everybody to see where the fire is.  Eventually we find Danny who is sitting on the road watching the fire(which turns out to be a little farther away than I thought).  Dad gets out and him and Danny talk for 15 minutes while me and Kate set in the Dodge and make fun of people.  It's 9:00 when Kate's mom and dad find us, then of course, her dad has to get out and talk with my dad and Danny about the fire.  Fast forward 10 minutes, me and Kate say goodbye, but not after her sweet mama and little brother tell me 'Happy Birthday' and I get to see Miss Dixie Reb(Kate's puppy).  They leave and we set in the road for another 10 minutes before me and dad take off driving towards the fire after he finds out that it's on some land that his friend manages.  Danny calls and says he's going to help, so dad decides that he's going back home after his fire truck and he asks if I want to go with him, duh of course!  What's a better way to end my 16th birthday than to go to my first fire?!  So this is what, me and Dad, Danny, and Grandpa rolled up too:

Not necessarily a big fire, but enough of one to burn grass that didn't need to be burned.  So we left the fire around 11:00, oh did I mention that it's still storming?  Lighting everywhere but no rain.  We go home, get ready to call it a night and go to bed, turn the TV on and they're saying that there's a tornado coming.  Great.  So we all get back up and dressed, no tornado.  Finally the storm passes and it starts raining.  That's it I'm done, I'm goin to bed!  

That was the end of my wonderful Sweet 16.

The next day was boring as all get-out.  It's been boring ever since! 

I'm taking Driver's Ed right now, I'm so ready to get my permit and eventually my licence!  

I can't wait!  Freedom, the open road, wind in my hair ect ect.....yeah now I'm just being sarcastic.  Hopefully I'll have my licence by Sep. of this year.

OH the Springy weather!  It's so wonderful!  There's leaves on the trees and the grass is green on the earth is aLiVe!!:D  I woke up this morning early just as the sun was coming up and looked out the window above my head at the trees by the porch.  It was beautiful(:  

I can't wait for hot weather and swimming!  Hopefully I'll get to go stay some with Kate this summer too, along with helping ship B. Bros cattle out this July/Aug.  Me and ol Tonto wild be raring(metaphorically speaking haha) to go!  

I'm so ready to grow up.  I know, I sound like a typical 16 yr old and every body says "stop wanting to grow up!" but really i am ready!! I guess I've got nothing but time tho....

I guess that's all the rambling I can do for tonight, I gotta Saddles and Psalms meeting on Facebook with the girlies at 8!:)

Barn Meeting, Driver's Ed and Dancing with the Stars

So it's been warm.  It's been A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!!  A couple days ago Mom and Dad order my Driver's Ed stuff, WOOO freaking HOOOOO!!  I'm excited/scared to death about taking it!  Hopefully I'll do fine.
I'm sitting here looking at my calender on my phone and there's a special date coming up in 18 days....my Sweet Sixteen!!:D  I'm in the process of planning a little party, it'll probably only consist of me, my family, my BFF Kate and a couple of my dad's friends.  Woo, got to love being homeschooled and having TONS of friends(<-- sarcasm.) But I have my best friend!  Oh and speaking of Cattle Kate.....

 We had one of our epic Barn Meetings(i.e meeting at my barn...yeah we got real creative about the name!) tonight.  See the school bus let's her, her sister and brother off out by my barn.  Anywho, our barn meeting lasted a good hour and if held many laughs ;]  We cussed and discussed many things tonight, including fake cowboys, real cowboys, fake friends and skinny jeans....just not in that order.  She got a Border Collie puppy named Dixie Reb!  OMG that puppy is adorable and SOOOOOO sweet!  I don't know why I didn't take a picture of her.  I told Kate that she could leave Dixie here and I'd take care of her, but my dear best friend frowned upon this!lol    I informed  Kate that we were going to start having a Barn Meeting more than once a month.  I just love hanging out with her!  I can't wait for Dad to fix my Tahoe and for me to get my [Driver's] Permit so I can drive up north to Kate's house(which is only 8 miles from mine).  But for now we shall just have our Barn Meetings!
Now as I type this, I'm watching Dancing with the Stars, the cast this year looks, um, interesting!  So far, I like the chick off of Disney channel the best[can't think of her name to save my life, I think it's Chelsea somethin]  We shall see who makes it to the finals.....
Hmmm what else....I need to start working with my paint horse here soon.  Another thing that me and Kate discussed was when the ranch her dad works on ships their cattle out in July.  I'm gonna go with Dad and help!:)  I can't wait, it's gonna be a BLAST!
Ummm, I know there's more....
OH! The barn cat....the d@^n barn cat.  See there's a barn cat in my barn, nobody knows how he got up here, but he's here.  And he's wild.  And while I was sitting in the tackroom door, watching Tonto eat and texting Kate, you know, minding my own business; this cat comes ripping out of nowhere by me, and around the barn he goes, as quickly as he appeared, he was gone!  I hate cats......lol!  Kate thought it was funny that the cat scared the crap outta me, I didn't find it too amusing....at all.

Ok.  So I've started *this* blog as MY blog.  I have another blog, but some people who I love/disagree with 99.9999% of the time read it, so I have to be careful what I put on there.  Oy; I know!  I just want a blog that I can post what I want(i.e. what I feeling, what stories I write, ect ect), so that's what this one is for!   The name of the blog, just "came" to me, I tired various other names but none fit it the way this one did.  I guess I'll use this as kind of a diary, and write about my life and times!;)  So be a little darling and click on that "follow" button!:)
